Marrakech is pleased to announce the launch of a new program that lets you help
support our work just by making online purchases through
CT Nonprofits ePlaza,
a website created in conjunction with the Connecticut Association of Nonprofits (CT
Nonprofits), Fundlink LLC, and more than 1,300 major retailers.
Popular retailers of all kinds are part of the program, including Target, Macy's,
Sears, Best Buy, Home Depot, Dell, Staples, Expedia - more than 1,300 in all!
Here's how it works: First, go to the
CT Nonprofits ePlaza
home page. Next, choose a merchant to shop from. Some featured merchants are shown
on a virtual mall map in the center of the page; more are listed along each side of the
page. To browse all 1,300 merchants, use the Browse by Category section at the bottom of
the page, or search for a merchant name or a product category using the search box at
the top of the page.
Once you have selected a merchant, you will be asked to select what nonprofit organization
you want to support. If you have used ePlaza before, organizations you have selected on
earlier visits will be listed at the top of the page under Recent Selections. If this is
your first visit to ePlaza, or if you did not select Marrakech on your previous visits,
then go down to the Region heading, and select South Central. On the next page, scroll the
list down to the M's and select Marrakech, Inc. (Woodbridge).
Once you select Marrakech, you will be sent directly to the store you selected, and Marrakech
will receive a donation for any purchases you make during the visit.
Each week, thousands of consumers are purchasing millions of business, household, and personal
items on the internet. Now you can do more with your purchases than just get you the items you
need, you can help support the work of Marrakech by making your purchases through
CT Nonprofits ePlaza.
