Community Living Arrangements

Community Living Arrangements (CLA) are group homes located in the community where residential services are provided to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Each of the homes has 24-hour staff support and range from three-bed programs up to seven-bed programs. All residents have individualized and person-centered service plans with the ultimate goal of increased independence, All CLA Group Homes are licensed and funded by the Department of Developmental Services. Referrals for placement must come through the respective region of the Department of Developmental Services.

Intermediate Care Facilities

Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF) are specialized group homes providing 24-hour supervision and individualized service plans for the residents. The goal of the ICF program is to provide individuals with active treatment, encouraging individuals to increase their skills in a variety of areas in order to reach their highest levels of independence. Services provided are based on the individuals’ needs, some of which include clinical coordination and oversight, habilitation services, community integration, and in-house recreational programming. ICF homes are licensed through the Department of Developmental Services and funded through the Department of Social Services. ICF Referrals for placement must come through the respective regions of the Department of Developmental Services.
